Hall Avenue, Mangere

Sixteen architecturally designed town houses are under construction; eight of these houses are for our Shared Ownership programme .

We are looking for households who want to buy their first home with the assistance of our Shared Ownership Programme.

Households need to be first home buyers and be able to purchase (with a mortgage and deposit) at least 60% of the purchase price of the houses which are currently priced between $690k to $710k.

The Location

Located in Mangere, and on the doorstep of Mangere Bridge, the area is going through significant transformation as Kainga Ora redevelops its housing. The development is within 10 minutes’ drive of Auckland Airport and Middlemore Hospital, and is only 20 minutes’ drive from Auckland CBD.

The Development

This development offers 3-bedroom townhouses, all with an attached single garage.  The kitchens are designer style, with Tri-Stone bench tops; the bedrooms are a good size and an outdoor living area at the rear of home ensures households can enjoy the traditional Kiwi BBQ on a summer’s evening.  All come with two bathrooms (one being an en-suite). Fully double-glazed, these homes have a contemporary design using traditional but modern claddings (brick and timber weatherboard).  These townhouses are all freehold title with no body corporate fees to pay.

Each townhouse is fully fenced so ideal for families with young children.

Housing Foundation is partnering with Made Homes, a developer who has been operating for 15 years.

These properties are planned to be completed before December 2020 (subject of course to the impact of COVID-19).
